This is Michelle putting her cheek next to a horse she rides at Freedom Reins. Freedom Reins is a Therapeutic Riding Center in Jasper that’s helping disabled kids get a chance to have improve relationships, have better self confidence, and just have fun riding. Michelle was born with Down Syndrome and loves riding her horse once a week. She’s been riding at Freedom Reins for three years now. I hope that this can develop into a possible story for the paper…

You embrace that which defines you.

I love her smile, as a special ed teacher I understand how very important these programs are to kids. I love how you captured her as a kids and a horse not a child with a disability.
I am very glad Megan tagged you and led me to your wonderful photos.
