Ice Day
January 26, 2009 | Category: Uncategorized
Well, it was Ice Day at Muster Field Farm Museum in North Sutton. This is where they saw huge blocks of ice out of Kezar Lake and stack them in an ice house. The ice is packed in layers of sawdust and actually lasts through the summer. It’s pretty amazing! This same ice will be used to keep in ice boxes and make ice cream in July!
