Follow Up with the Mueller Family

We checked back in with the Mueller family for a Christmas story. It turns out that after our first story on the family of 10 they received many donation to help them get through these tough times. I am amazed sometimes by the power of what a story in the newspaper can do. Even though I often hear (and feel myself sometimes) that newspapers are dying and they will soon be a lost medium, there is still a great power in telling other people’s stories. And people want to hear them.
