Point and Shoot Photography
February 29, 2012 | Category: Uncategorized
I can’t tell you how many people have come up to me over the years and said, “That’s a really nice camera! I bet it takes great pictures.” To me this implies two things that people think about photography. One, all someone needs to make good quality images is an expensive camera. Two, you know nothing about being a photographer. Good photographers always say the camera is just a tool used by the artist. I can’t tell you how true this is. If you can’t take a good photo than even the best camera out there can’t help you.
I’ve been in the market for a point and shoot camera recently and decided to buy a Fuji X10. I bought it because it has a faster lens than most point and shoots out there. That and I wanted to make good pictures with a basic camera. I want to show that it truly isn’t about equipment, but about the artist. I really love it thus far. Here are some images from it’s first few clicks.
